Roger Neal SaterLANCASTER: Roger Neal Sater, 64, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on November 28, 2015.He was born on April 27, 1951, in Lancaster, to the late Harold and Maxine Sater. He was a graduate of Lancaster High School, class of 1969, a graduate of Hocking Technical College, and attended Ohio University, Athens. Roger was an employee of Charles Taylor and Sons, Newton, Ohio. and of Anchor Hocking, Lancaster. He was a life-long member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was an avid and loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds.Roger is survived by his sister Barbara Sater of Lancaster, and by his sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and William Dempsey of Cleveland, Ohio; uncle and aunt, David and Rita Sater; cousins; dear friends, and beloved pets.Friends and family may call from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 on Saturday, December 5, at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, 436 N. Broad St., Lancaster. Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, in the chapel of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 125 N Eastwood Ave. Lancaster. A private graveside service will be scheduled later. Memorial gifts may be given to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
