Lieutenant Roger Christian Sr.Lieutenant Roger Christian Sr. was born on March 26, 1966 to the union of his parents David Christian and Caldonia James Christian.Mr. Christian was a member of St Peter Missionary Baptist Church and was employed by Allen Parish Sheriff Office where he worked for many years.Lieutenant Roger Christian Sr., 50 passed away at his home on December 21, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father David Christian and his brother Harry Christian.Mr. Roger Christian Sr. leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Vergie Metoyer Christian, his mother, Caldonia Christian, one son Roger Christian Jr, one daughter Amie Christian, one sister Emma Jean O'Neal, six brothers David Christian, Leonard Christian, Jerome Christian, Chester Christian, Darnell Christian and Darrell Wayne Christian all of Oakdale, LA, 3 grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends. Roger will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.A visitation service will be held at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church 1104 Church St. Oakdale, LA; on Saturday, December 31, 2016 from 9am - 10am, funeral services conducted under the leadership of Rev. Gregory Craig will be held at 11:00 am.
