Thompson, Roger Alfred 81, of Wichita, KS, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016, at his home in Wichita. Roger, the son of Alfred and Gertrude (Brumbaugh) Thompson, was born on January 13, 1935, at home in Paradise, KS. Survivors include his loving children, Beverly (Bob) Sunderland, Robbie (Robin) Thompson, Ricky (Barbara) Thompson, Shelly (Jody) Nelson, Allen Thompson, Tami (Pat) Ibarra, and his special companion, Lelia Waters. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016; Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016, both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
