Roberta Jeanette "Bobbie" Johnson, 80, of Flagstaff, AZ, formerly of Carlsbad, NM., passed away on Sept. 14, 2016, at home. She was born on October 20, 1935, in Carlsbad, NM to James (Jim) and Dorothy (Dot) Brown. Bobbie worked for over 55 years in the nursing profession in Albuquerque, Artesia, Carlsbad and Roswell, NM. She was a floor nurse, charge nurse, director of Nursing Services and an Assistant Administrator during her working career. Bobbie enjoyed her work and giving back to others. In addition to her parents, Bobbie was predeceased by her husband, Al Johnson in 2012. Survivors include her brother, James Brown of Show Low, AZ; her daughter and son-in-law David and Denise Thompson of Flagstaff; a step-son Bill Johnson of New Braunfels, TX, two grandchildren, Christina Ulibarri of Apple Valley, CA and her spouse David Ulibarri and Justin Thompson of Gilbert, AZ. and his spouse Jessica Rivera; 3 great grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren; as well as 2 great, great grandchildren; and other family members and friends. A celebration of Bobbie's life will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Happy Valley Baptist Church at 3 PM with a reception to follow.
