ROBERTA A. "BOBBIE" PURCELL MERRILLVILLE, IN Roberta A. "Bobbie" Purcell, age 87, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016. She was born on July 22, 1929 in Crown Point, IN to the late Leslie and Leota Phillips. In 1956 she married her late husband, William Purcell. She and William were members of First Presbyterian Church in Merrillville, IN. She enjoyed spending time with her sister and was an animal lover. Bobbie had a great sense of humor and she will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter Donna (Steven) Orlowski; two granddaughters; two sisters: Jean Luchene and Judith Perkins. Preceded in death by her husband, William Purcell; son, Thomas Purcell; parents: Leslie and Leota Phillips; two brothers and two sisters. Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
