Robert Thomas (Tom) TempleEAST FULTONHAM: Robert Thomas (Tom) Temple, 74, of East Fultonham, died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House surrounded by his family. He was born on April 4, 1940 in Zanesville a son of the late Robert and Edith Temple. He worked at Sky Way Theatre then joined the
United States Air Force in November 1958 and served his country until October 1962 at Loring Air Force Base in Maine. He then worked at American Match Co., Burnham Foundry, and Dura Corp. Then he was a self employed painter for over 40 years (Tom Temple Painting). He attended grade school in Fultonham and graduated from Zanesville High School in 1958.He was a member of the Zanesville American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Helen Temple; one son, Mark (Teresa) Temple of Zanesville; three daughters, Lori (John) Williams of Blue Rock, Tammy (Rick) Miller of Zanesville and Marie (Curt Paul) Allwood of Zanesville; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Dale; and a sister Shirley. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2014 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014. Rev. Arthur Potts officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
