DODGE CITY - Robert "Bob" Leroy Randall, 78, died November 24, 2016 at Wichita. He was born on January 10, 1938 at Old Kaw City, Oklahoma the son of John Leroy and Hattie (Stone) Randall.Robert attended schools in Minneola and joined the
US Navy in 1956. He served on the U.S.S Thetis Bay in the South Pacific. He married Lois Droste in 1962 and later married Rogena Belt Brunson in 1985. Bob worked at the Dodge City COOP as a mechanic and then went to work for KP&L where he worked until retiring in 1996. He enjoyed work, family, watching Nascar races and old western movies. Bob also enjoyed is morning and afternoon coffee with the Dodge House Coffee Club.He attended the Dodge City Family Friends Church.Bob is survived by his wife, Rogena L. Randall of Dodge City; daughter, Debbie Andrasek and husband Carl of Great Bend; son, Duane Randall and wife Natalia of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Terri Quint and husband Danny of Northfield, Minnesota; step-son, Todd Brunson of Dodge City; step-daughter-in-law, Lori Brunson of Minneola; two grandchildren, Tara McCabe and husband Jason of Dodge City and Christopher Stone of Dodge City; and great grandson, Liam McCabe of Dodge City; eight step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James McGuire and Johnny Randall; three sisters, Georgie Nix, Bertha Hacker, and Cora Mae Bossingham; and step daughter, Tami Jantz.Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Gerald Mendenhall presiding. Burial will follow at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Ft. Dodge with military honors provided by Howard Gotschall Post #1714
V.F.W. and Wichita Navy Honor Guard Detail. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Tuesday November 29, 2016 from Noon to 8:00 PM.
