Wood, Robert J.Robert J. Wood, age 57, a Manitowoc resident formerly of Fond du Lac, passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 19, 2017.He was born on April 20, 1960 in Fond du Lac, son of the late Leonard and E. Marion (Bostwick) Wood. Robert attended St. Mary's Springs High School with the class of 1979. On August 29, 1992 he married Anna Marie Gregorich in Fond du Lac. Robert was a J.C. Member and District Director, he was also involved with Pink Heels, Livestrong, Gumby's Club Fore a Cure, and the YMCA. Robert was the care giver for his mother and the assistant manager at Carquest. He enjoyed the outdoors, off-roading, watching the Green Bay Packers, and playing Darts. Survivors include his wife: Anna Marie Wood; brother and sister-in-law: Thomas (Laura) Wood; sister and brother-in-law: Margaret (Michael) Loewer; two nephews: Aaron (Virginia) Loewer; Adam Loewer (Fiancee Leah Schoultz); one stepson: Johnathon Prindle; one grand niece: Selena; one grand nephew: Oliver; and Robert's cat: Deeja. Other relatives and friends also survive. Robert was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and E. Marion (Bostwick) Wood. Cremation has occurred at the All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home (928 South 14th Street), Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Mark Mleziva. Burial of Roberts cremated remains will take place at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home (928 South 14th Street), Manitowoc, from 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 until 4:45 p.m.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Robert's name to Pink Heels, Livestrong, Gumby's Fore a Cure, or YMCA.
