Robert Jacob Westmoreland, aged 29, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016. Bobby was born on November 22, 1986 in Conroe, Texas and lived there his entire life.
Bobby was a devoted husband, amazing father, loving son, awesome big brother, accomplished musician, and entrepreneur. His greatest accomplishment was his family. He taught himself to play the guitar and was proficient in several other instruments as well. Bobby was the most patient, kind-hearted person who always had a huge smile on his face and had the huge heart to match. He knew how to bring out the best in everyone he met. As a business owner, he genuinely wanted to improve the lives of all of his customers.
Bobby overcame many obstacles throughout his short life, including brain surgery and a near-fatal accident as a younger man. Most importantly, he and his amazing wife Heather overcame his son's battle with pediatric cancer.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Giles Acker and Pat Acker, Bobby leaves behind his devoted wife Heather, son Robert Maxwell (Moosie), parents Robert (Big Bob) and Lori, paternal grandparents Melvin and Margie, brother Kyle, and sister Kari. He is survived by uncles Steven Acker (Cindy), Thomas Acker (Julie), Darrell Acker (Susan), and Rick Acker (Joyce). He is also survived by his aunts Holly York (Al) and Melvalyn Roberts (Joe).
Celebration of life will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 6:00pm at the Corner Pub in Conroe, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with burial following in Conroe Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Kyle Westmoreland, Daniel Acker, Josh Pitt, Josh Benhart, Judah Smith, Chad Hawkins, Trevor Dennis and Jonathan Hoffman.
