Robert Dean Claywell Jr.Battle CreekRobert Dean Claywell Jr., 48, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 3. He was born on November 20, 1967, to Robert Dean Claywell and Donna Jeanne (Thomas) Terry. Rob was a 1985 graduate of Harper Creek High School.Rob was married to Barb (Mahoney) Squires in 1986 and although the marriage later ended in divorce they created three beautiful daughters, Chrystal, Jenna and Sabrena Claywell. Rob's grandchildren include Ambria, KynLee, Tre'von, Alayna, and baby Samari is due in April. Rob is also survived by his parents Donna (David) Terry of Delton, MI, and Robert (Lois) Claywell of Florence, AZ, and a grandmother, Willa Claywell. His siblings are Candi (Darrin) Sinclair, Samantha Terry, Stacy (Duane) Osborne, Shawn (Kris) Grogan and Josh (Courtney) Scheidler. Rob has 6 nieces and 7 nephews and left behind many other cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, including life-long best friend Mark Chapin.Rob's favorite pass times included hunting, fishing, golfing, softball, and baseball. He was a huge sports fan and loved the Detroit Red Wings, Tigers and Lions. Rob loved telling stories and enjoyed making people laugh. He had a smile that could brighten anyone's day and a loving and caring heart. He will forever be missed.Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W.
