Edinburg - Robert "Bob" "Flonnie" Carl Johnson, 75, of Edinburg, Texas, was called to be with the Lord on December 2, 2016. Bob was born on December 27, 1940 in Edinburg, Texas. He graduated from Edinburg High School, served his country in the Marines, was an estimator, but most of all he was an outdoorsman. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Barbara, his son, Eric (Melanie), Grandchildren, Leif (Amanda), Cortnie (Joshua), and Cole, Great Grandchildren Robbie, Lily, and Samuel, Father-in-law Robert Fisher, Sisters-in-law Jacque and Janice, Brothers-in-laws Jerry (Shelley) Fisher, Rick (Shirley) Fisher, and Jim Fisher, Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both his parents Buster Johnson and Mildred Haley, his brother A.C. Johnson, his Mother-in-law Pauline Fisher, his nephew, Jay Johnson, and his cousins Keith and Kenneth Johnson.There will be a visitation from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6th and Funeral Services at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7th at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home at 621 East Griffin Parkway in Mission.
