CURTIS, Robert Arthur "Bob"Robert Curtis passed away peacefully in Calgary on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the age of 96 years. Bob was born on October 13, 1920 in Windsor, Ontario. At an early age Bob showed a great love of learning. He began his career in retail and with great dedication, worked his way from the bottom to become the manager of major supermarket stores. After retirement he had a few retail jobs until he found his next purpose in life, managing apartments. This was a job he truly enjoyed and carried on with for as long as possible. After this, Bob became focused on learning. He studied religion, philosophy and anything else he took an interest in. Bob was truly a lifelong learner. Bob is survived by his wife of 70 years Mae; son and daughter in law Brian and Susan, grandchildren Christine (Ryan), Jenny-Marie; great-grandchildren Natalie and Isabel.
