Robert ‘Bob’ Balfanz FRANKSVILLE – Robert ‘Bob’Balfanz, 76, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Wheaton Hospital, Franklin. He was born on February 27, 1938 in Baraboo, Wisconsin, the son of the late William and Pearl (nee: Eschenbach) Balfanz. Bob’s early years were spent on a farm near Baraboo. After High School graduation he learned the Tool and Die trade and was employed by S. C. Johnson Wax for 32 years, retiring in 2000. On March 3, 1963 he was united in marriage to Linda Spear in Merrimac. Bob enjoyed gardening and helping on the family farm. He also enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Packer and Brewers fan. Surviving is his wife, Linda and their two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian (Margaret) Balfanz and Brad (Sara) Balfanz; two wonderful grandchildren, which he adored, Ainsley and Brannt. He is further survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Roger (Donna) Balfanz other relatives and friends. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Meadowbrook Country Club. There will be a visitation from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place with private burial at Caledonia Memorial Cemetery.
