Martinson, Richard ArthurRichard (Rich, Richie, Blondie) Arthur Martinson, 62, Green Bay, WI and formerly of Cedarburg, WI was taken home to the Lord, peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.He was born on September 12, 1954, at Misericordia Hospital, Milwaukee, WI to Florence and Darwin Martinson. Rich graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1972 and went on to welding and fabrication school in Port Washington, WI graduating in 1974.Rich had a heart the size of Texas and no one was a stranger to him, he talked to everyone. Rich loved being a manual machinist and was very good at it. He bragged that his fingers had never touched a CNC machine or a computer keyboard. Over the years, he worked at Ameridrives International, James Engineering, Precision Tool and Die, Badger Roll, Nichol Tool and Die.Rich is survived by his daughter, Jordan and her husband, Derek Teague, Green Bay; brother, Howard (Linda) Martinson, Campbellsport; sister, Darlene (Tom) Hoffmann, Henderson, NV; brother, Edward Martinson, California; sister, Charlene (Robert) Haugen, Thornton, CO; brother, Charles Martinson, Green Bay; Rich's special girlfriend of 17 years, Susan Moureau; special cousin, Bill Behl; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, many cousins and lifelong friends. There were five women Rich loved beyond measure and who loved him in return; Jordan, Susie, Marlene, Darlene, and Charlene.Rich was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; his baby sister, Marlene; and two nephews, Tommy Scott Hoffmann and James Edward Martinson.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, for a Celebration of Rich's Life from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, March 3.
