SORG, Richard Alan "Dick" Age 72 of Tipp City, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016. Dick was born on February 17, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Dorothy Sorg. Along with his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife of 48 years, Sharon and a brother Robert Sorg (Bob). He is survived by his three sons, Rick (Cindy), Dave (Candace) and Steve (Bambi), six grandchildren Bradley, Benjamin, Hanna, Meghan, Wyatt and Haley and a brother, Roger Sorg (Carol) of Hilton Head, SC, a sister-in-law, Susan Zember of Columbus, OH and sister-in-law, Shirley Barbee (Mike) of Niceville, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Dick was a graduate of Fairmont High School and spent his career in the graphic arts and exhibit design industry working for both Merchandise Displays and Exhibit Concepts here in Dayton. He found a new passion toward the end of his career in sales working for Voss Honda in Tipp City. Dick, along with his wife, enjoyed spending time travelling, visiting with friends and especially time spent with their children and grandchildren at sporting events, annual family vacations and many family celebrations. Dick will be remembered for many things including his constant support to his wife during her 22 year illness, his constant strength and positive attitude towards life during his own health struggles, and many will remember him for his ability to build, fix, and repair things even before Do It Yourself (DIY) had become a common term. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday December 7, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 East Second St. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley, 660 South Main Street, Dayton, OH 45402 or
