Richard "Ricky" A. LoweJuly 2, 1970 - January 20, 2014Richard "Ricky" Arvel Lowe passed away peacefully after a short illness at his home in Pocatello on January 20, 2014. He was born on July 2, 1970 to Mary Ellen and Arvel.When Ricky was young, he played football for Taysom Construction. Ricky also loved boxing. He started boxing for the VFW while attending grade school. Later he boxed for Gate City. Ricky won many boxing awards. He loved the outdoors. His hobbies included four wheeling, fishing, hunting, skiing and snowmobiling. Ricky was a skilled roofer by trade. He loved to cook. The highlight of Ricky's life was his son, Tyler. Ricky loved teaching Tyler all he knew.Ricky was preceded in death by his grandma, Mary Burke Jones; and his uncle, Ralph Lowe. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen (Ernie) Murrieta; father, Arvel Lowe; son, Tyler Lowe; sisters, Michele (Kelly), Bridget, Erin (Brad), Heather, Kelly, and Shannon; and brother, Jason.We love you Ricky!Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 25th at Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave., Pocatello.
