It is with heavy hearts and unfathomable sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend Ricardo "Rick" Perez. He was born on April 24, 1963 in Canutillo TX to Andres and Martina Perez. Rick was called home on his last and final journey to be with our heavenly father on March 19, 2017.Ricardo "Rick" Perez is survived by his daughters Trista Perez-Diaz (Anthony Diaz) Kasandra Perez-Borunda (Daniel Borunda) and Katerine Perez. Grandchildren Aliana Sanchez, David Baeza, McKayla Borunda, Angel & Jaylean Castillo, Joshua & Avery Olivas all of Las Cruces NM. His twin brother Roberto "Bob" Perez from Las Cruces NM, 5 other brothers, 2 sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents Andres and Martina Perez, Grandchildren David Baeza and Avery Olivas and Niece Carolyn Perez. At the time of his passing he was a lifelong resident of Las Cruces NM but his work provided him with the ability to travel and see the world and he took full advantage of that. His free spirit and adventurous soul thrived on all the beauty that this world had to offer, never taking advantage of the chance he was given to make an everlasting impact on the lives of all those he meet along the way. His journey and ride that he called "Life" may have started off in New Mexico but his love of the open road gave him the greatest of opportunities to touch those across a nation. Ricardo "Rick" Perez touched the lives and hearts of all those that were blessed enough to have met him. His smile, laugh, love and kindness are only a few things he leaves behind with his daughters, family and friends but the memories and the stories of his adventures and his life, that so many of us have, is what makes his life everlasting. A simple man's journey of life filled with love, experience and wisdom is the true definition of Immortality, living forever in the hearts of his loved ones. A rosary for Rick will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 9:30am at La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10am with inurnment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
