Stone, Rexford G.Rexford G. Stone, 88, of Waukau, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016. He was born on August 19, 1928, to George and Edna (Dodd) Stone. He graduated from Omro High School in 1946, then attended the Agriculture Short Course in Madison. Rex married Ruth Elizabeth Challoner on October 14, 1950, at the First Presbyterian Church in Omro. They farmed in Rosendale, Omro and Waukau. Morrissey Road Farm and Guernseys were the pride of his life since 1962; with the farm hosting the Winnebago County Breakfast on the Farm in 2016. Rex was a member of Waukau United Methodist Church. He was also active in Guernsey Breeders Association and a director on the Lake to Lake Milk Co-Op. Rex loved to visit with whoever he happened to meet.Rex is survived and will be missed by his wife, Ruth; children, Susan Stone, Stewart (Amelia) Stone, Kenneth (Stacey) Stone, Lisa (Kenneth) Neuburg and Robert (Vicki) Stone; grandchildren, Charles and his son, Konner, and Kathryn Thums, Josiah (Suzan) and Evangeline Stone, Neil, Joshua and Jordan Stone, Lloyd (Olga) Neuburg and their sons, Timothy, Isaiah, and Levi; Grace and Lucas Neuburg and Benjamin Stone; step grandchildren Samantha and her son, Jace and Emily Jurek; brothers and sister, Russell (Lois) Stone, Lenora (James, Jr.) Tritt, Leonard Stone; sisters in law, Mary Lee and Sandy Challoner; other relatives and many friends. Rex was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Jean (Arlyn) Hollander, in laws, Marie Stone, Robert Challoner, Eldon Lee and Elaine Challoner, daughter in law, Michele Ramseier-Stone.Visitation for family and friends will be held at Waukau United Methodist Church, Highway 116, Waukau, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and again at the church on Thursday, December 22, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tommy Sukhyun Jung officiating.
