BURLINGTON - Renata C. Kerkman, 64, passed away on June 2, 2012, at her home. She was born on June 5, 1947, to Thomas and Irma (nee :Natale) Dunn in Offenbach, Germany where she lived till the age of 6. After coming to the United States she first lived in Tennessee then moved to Burlington in 1955. On May 16, 1970 at St. Mary's Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Roman "Romie" Kerkman. Following their marriage they resided in Burlington. Renata was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She loved to bake and do crafts. She also enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and dancing. Renata is survived by her mother Irma Dunn of Burlington, her sons Joe (Fiancé Shannon Conroy) Kerkman and Bob Kerkman of Burlington. She is further survived by her siblings; Linda (Dave) Wade, Michael (Chris) Dunn, Lorna Dunn, Deone (John) Earhart, James (Trish) Dunn and Sherry Dunn, brothers and sisters- in-laws; Gordon Schenning, Fran Kerkman, Joan (Bob) Ziccarelli, Kenneth (Lorna) Kerkman, Donald (Joan) Kerkman, Judith (Bill) Klein and Janice (John) Koons. Renata was preceded in death by her husband "Romie" in 2009, her dad Thomas, her father and mother-in- law Michael and Mary Kerkman, brothers and sisters-in-laws; Genevieve (Harold) Brustman, Geraldine Schenning and Michael Kerkman. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 8, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. James Volkert officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
