Rebecca MaugerFebruary 26, 1951 - March 17, 2016Rebecca "Becky" Mauger passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2016. She was born on February 26, 1951 to George Q and Virginia Rich in Ogden Utah. The family later moved to Southern CA where she lived the rest of her life. She graduated from Chatsworth High School in Northridge, CA where she was head cheerleader. She also attended San Diego State University majoring in recreation. Rebecca married Carl Mauger on October 18, 1981. Through the marriage she gained two girls (Michelle & Jennifer) who she loved as her daughters. Rebecca was proud to be an international flight attendant for TWA for over 20 years and was able to travel to nearly every country. Even when she wasn't working she was known to hop a flight and take off for some fun destination. She was always up for fun and adventure. She loved crafts of all types but later in life she had a special love for beading and was always found making and selling her necklaces at local craft fairs. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Jennifer Mauger. She is survived by her husband, Carl Mauger, daughter Michelle (Jason) Hedstrom, and 5 grandchildren whom she loved dearly and a sister Vicky Gorham (Vista, CA). There will be a simple graveside service on Thursday April 7, 2016 at 11am at Norton Cemetery in McCammon Idaho where she will be laid to rest next to her daughter Jennifer.
