Raymond, affectionally known as Old man, Pops, Papa, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Uncle, Compa, Carnel, Sonny and Dad was born on August 12, 1930 in Cutler, California and a forever resident of Tulare County.Raymond met his wife Adeline Rodriguez in 1953 and married on July 24 1955. They spent over 62 two years together enjoying life and caring for their family. Raymond had various occupations throughout the years. He worked as a Farmer in his early years in Cutler. In Visalia he worked at Caskey Paper Company and then a Gardner in Visalia California for over 40 years.Raymond made everyone a friend. You could say his gift and superpower was how he made people happy. His greetings were especially tailored to who you were.Pops, a military veteran who served in the Army during the Korean War. Raymond and Adeline became members of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith in 1974. They are current members of the Visalia Central Bilingual Seventh Day Adventist Church.Raymond was preceeded in death by his Parents Rumaldo Carrillo and Mary Gaspar Carrillo from Dinuba and his first-born daughter Cheryl Ann Carrillo.Raymond is survived by Elizabeth Anne and Trini Juarez of Visalia, Ray Anthony and Arline (Lynn) Carrillo of Grants Pass Oregon, Lynnsharon Carrillo and Melissa Smith of Visalia, Grandchildren Derrick and Kim Carrillo of Grants Pass Oregon, Steve and Andrea Welton of Visalia, Frances and Stephanie Nacapuy of Sacramento California, Lyndsie Juarez and Cameron Smith of Visalia. Great Grandchildren (All Boys) Jaiden, Jacob, Jax, Josiah Carrillo, Jace and Joshua Nacapuy, Ashton Castillo Juarez and Jordan Juarez. Brothers; Rumaldo (Bob), Alfonso (Al) Edward (Ed) and Rudy Carrillo. Sisters Dolores Espinosa, Rosie Rodriquez, Cecelia Adams, Helen Gradillas and Nina Maggard. and numerous loving Nephews and Nieces that he loved deeply.Viewing will be held at Salser and Dillard Funeral Home in Visalia, Monday night from 5 to 7 pm. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 9am followed by a Celebration of Life at the Visalia Central Bilingual Seventh Day Adventist Church at 3215 E. Millcreek Parkway in Visalia.
