Ray "Quich" Anthony Quijada, 43 passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on January 24, 1969 in Yuma, AZ. Quich went to Yuma schools. In 2006 he received his GED which he proudly sent to his mother. He later attended Culunary School at the Florence D.O.C. He worked at Desert Sun as a finisher then moved to Phoenix, AZ and worked at various construction companies until he hurt his back. He was a catholic and served as alter boy at St. Thomas Mission. As a child he loved to box and play soccer, he also loved raising his pitbull Tonka. As an adult he loved spending time with his Lady (Mom) and his brothers & sister. He loved to barbeque and drink his cold Budweiser while listening to his Reggae Music. He also loved and adored his daughter Estella and Step-son Michael (boy). Quich is survived by his mother, Martha Quijada aka Dinky, of Yuma, AZ; brothers, Ray Edward Figueroa Jr., of Yuma, AZ; Robert Frances Figueroa, of Yuma, AZ; sister, Monique Nicole Rocha, of Yuma, AZ; Step-sister, Francine Figueroa, of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Estella Petra Quijada, of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by his grandfather Edward Quijada, of Yuma, AZ; aunt, Catalina Quijada, of Yuma, AZ; 9 nieces, 9 nephews and many, many cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ester Y. Quijada, and step-father, Ray Francis Figueroa. Private viewing for immediate family only will be July 30, 2012. Services will be at St. Francis Catholic Church on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Will be cremated.
