Obituary of Randy Edward Sweets Perry

There are seasons that God looks down on the Earth to determine which family needs his immediate assistance.  God looked down at the Perry family in 1968 and saw that their belief in family had fallen. God searched amongst his angels and found one who was the very meaning of family. On February 8,   1969  through the vessels of Charles Edward (deceased) and Ora Mae Perry, Randy Edwards Perry was received into our family. During his adolescent years, Randy was widely known for playing baseball. Randy matriculated from Jackson Central Merry in 1987 and afterwards gave our nation his service through the Armed Forces. After an extensive service to our nation, he landed in Salinas, California and there he was honorably discharged from the Armed Services. These accomplishments are only small in comparison to what he gave the Perry family, friends and relatives who came in contact with him. Randy's life on earth exemplified, love and an unselfish soul to the world. His smile and heavenly personality attracted those big or small. Whenever he was around, his energy would touch those high and low. He made you feel loved and valued.

Randy is survived by one son, Jordan Perry. Randy devoted his life to making sure Jordan understood the meaning of love and family.  On 11/1/2013, Randy married Kimille Caldwell and their earthly  love lasted until he was summoned back to the Heavenly realms on May 22, 2018. Kimille's devotion to Randy words cannot express.  In addition, Randy left to our planet two brothers; Antonio Perry and Kenneth Perry. Four nephews, niece, a great niece and one great nephew. Three maternal aunts, one paternal aunt, three cousins like brothers and sister and countless number of friends. This planet is a better place because of God's sacrifice of one of his angels, Randy Edward Perry.  Randy is now joined back with his earthly ancestors in the heavenly realm, one in particular, his precious maternal grandmother, Laura Tolliver Perry.  Please understand, to tell of his many adventures in reclaiming the meaning of family to the Perry's and would take up a thousand pages and countless hours. His journey in the Earth is not a tell of sorrow, but of joy that God considered our family, when charging Randy Edward Perry to use his divine powers to sew in our hearts the meaning of love and family. For that, we thank you, Oh Lord.

Victor Frankly (Survival of the Holocaust) Finding Meaning even with Loss

Frankl interviewed a man who lost his wife. This particular patient  could not overcome the loss of his wife was helped by the following conversation with Frankl:

Frankl asked "What would have happened if you had died first, and your wife would have had to survive you."

"Oh," replied the patient, "for her this would have been terrible; how she would have suffered!"

Frankl continued, "You see such a suffering has been spared her; and it is you who have spared her this suffering; but now, you have to pay for it by surviving her and mourning her." The man said no word, but shook Frankl's hand and calmly left his office (Frankl, 1992).
