Szablewski, Ralph A. of Slinger, formerly of Milwaukee, age 89, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017. He was born on June 21, 1927 in Milwaukee to parents Ernest and Angeline (Sroka). Ralph was a 1941 high school graduate of SS. Cyril & Methodius in Milwaukee. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1949 from the University of Marquette. Ralph proudly served in the US
Army as a Corporal from August of 1952 until March of 1957. Ralph worked for the City of Milwaukee for many years. Ralph enjoyed traveling and singing as a tenor in the Bel Canto Choir. He loved to wine and dine his friends with the dinner parties he hosted. Ralph had great luck in winning raffles he entered. He also took pleasure in giving to many charities on a regular basis. Ralph is survived by his niece, Valerie (Richard) Wright; great-nephew, Michael Lemberger; great-great-nephews and niece, Nate, Jake and Lauren Lemberger. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Melania Vaneksa. Funeral Service for Ralph will be held at the Shimon Funeral Home, on Tuesday, March 21 at 10:00 AM with Fr. David LaPlante presiding. Visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Milwaukee. Memorials are appreciated to the or the Humane Society. A special thank you to the caregivers at The Pavilion at Glacier Valley for such wonderful care.
