TOWNSEND, Rae LauraRae Laura Townsend passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 in Calgary, AB. Rae was born on October 21, 1914 in Bombay, India. She was the daughter of Ann Ruth and Samuel Albert Evans. From 1961 to 1977, Rae lived in London, England with her family, but later joined her son Walter in Canada in 1977. Rae is survived by her son Walter Jones; grandchildren Christopher (Debbie) and Lorraine (Hansjorg); and great-grandchildren Yaremi, Gabriel and Dominic. A Prayer Service will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, AB (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Cecilia's Parish, 321- 90 Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB T2J OAl, on Friday, November 18, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the charity of one's choice.
