Phyllis M. PetersonMay 1, 1929 - September 25, 2013Phyllis Marie Prosise Peterson, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Pocatello, Idaho. She was born on May 1, 1929 in Salina, Kansas to Clark Thomas and Ester Dorthy Humphrey Prosise. She married Lloyd Byron "Pete" Peterson on January 13, 1964 in Westchester, California. Phyllis was educated in California and worked for many years managing a dental office. She loved animals and always fed and gave as much attention to strays as she could. She had a loving heart and loved her family. She enjoyed doing genealogy and also loved her family. She is survived by her husband Lloyd "Pete" Peterson, of Pocatello, ID; a son Joseph Thomas, of Santa Cruz, CA; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by a brother, John Prosise, of Powder Springs, GA; She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Bobby Clark Thomas, and two sister Lola Jean Shimer, and Patricia Luttrel.Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston, Idaho. A gathering will take place on Friday from 12:00 to 12:45a p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Weston Cemetery.
