Gleason, Phillip Russell 71, passed away into the arms of our Lord on June 5, 2016. Phillip was born on August 22, 1944, to Bertle and Valee Gleason in Larned, KS. Phillip served in the United States Air Force and was a Sedgwick County Sheriff's officer before retiring in 2006. Phillip was joint owner of P&J's Guns and Ammo. LLC. Preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Eric. Survived by his wife, Shirley (Dixon) Gleason; children, Karen (Woody), Kathy, Joe (Laura), Doc (Carolyn) and Lorraine; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at the Gleason residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials established with Sedgwick County Sheriff's Officers Benefit Fund Association, P.O.
