Philip "Phil" Thomas Carey II passed away on Thursday, April 19th, 2012 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on September 8th, 1939 in Dorchester, MA. Phil moved to Yuma in 1971, where he was a crop duster for Western Farms and Arizona Ag. Phil was also a pilot for Western Newspapers for many years. He was a strong family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Phil is survived by his children, Philip (Regina), Camey (Casey) Nelson and Rane Danielsen; his friend Kat Summerchild; his seven grandchildren and by his brother and sisters. A celebration of life will be held On April 28th, 2012 at 5:30 at the Montoya residence, 1731 S. 9th Ave.
