Phil Powell was Born to the Late Teresa Wise on October 9, 1969, in Washington, Dc. Phil Powell transitioned fron this life on earth and entered eteral rest on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Phil Powel was a true Washingtonian. He began his years education in the District of Columbia Public School system where he graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High school. Following graduating from high school he went right into the government being hired at the Government Printing Office as a Book Binder, where he worked for 20 years before going out on Disability. After retiring on Disability with Multiple Sclerosis he joined the MS Society. He did MS walks, did program here to help get advance research on this disease. He lived with MS for over 15 years. Phil Powell leaves to charish his memory, his 4 children Tierra Powell, Stephon Powell, Taylor Powell, Jaylnn Powell, 1 Grandchild Amirah Holmes, 1 sister April Wise, 1 brother Anthoney Wise,and his Mother Teresa Wise.
