Peter Bodwell Stevens passed away the morning of Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, at 7:10 a.m. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/donate. Peter was born on July 26, 1946, in Lawrence, Mass., and was a world traveler. He was raised in Panama for which he had great fondness and was fluent in Spanish, but he always called Texas his home. Peter was a Navy Special Forces veteran, a graduate of Texas Tech University, a member of the Masonic Temple and, most importantly, a family man. Peter was a talented sailor and a Harley enthusiast. He sailed many seas and enjoyed countless expeditions on his Harley. He was a consummate professional in the energy industry as a project director for various energy plants throughout the world. He was an avid reader and known for his famous poker parties hosted abroad. As Peter would say: "How 'bout them Cowboys." He was preceded in death by parents, Russell and Elizabeth Stevens. Survivors: His loving wife, Lana Stevens; his children, Sean Stevens and wife, Kristin Stevens, Liana Stevens, and Kayla Slater; grandchildren, Cade, Parker and Zach Stevens; brothers, Dale and Russ Stevens; along with many friends and contemporaries.
