Peggy Lucille BakerPeggy Lucille Baker, 76, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. She was born on December 3, 1939 in Chesterfield, Idaho to Wayne and Vera Bower.She attended K-12 at North Gem and also attended one year at ISU. She lived in Chesterfield until her marriage where she then moved to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, later moving to McCammon, Idaho and Pocatello, Idaho.On December 26, 1967, she married Bruce L. Baker. They were married for 48 ½ years.Peggy was a mother and housewife. She devoted her life to her family, especially to her eldest son, Bruce Jr. She was his rock and the two were inseparable.Peggy was a devoted member of the LDS church where she attended the Marsh Creek ward. She loved camping, games, caring for her grandchildren, dancing, church and her family. She also loved to visit her 2 nieces, Annadel & Gaylene, as often as she could. She loved to travel; some of her favorite places being Hawaii, Branson, Missouri, the Bahamas and touring church temples.She is survived by her husband, Bruce Baker, McCammon, ID; sons, Sidney Baker, Kimberly, ID, Wayne Baker, Chubbuck, ID; brother, George Bower, Palmer, Alaska; and 6 grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her son, Bruce Baker Jr.; daughter, DiAnna Baker; brother, Larry Bower; sisters, Shirley Bower, Anna Hardman (Bower); and parents, Wayne and Vera Bower.A viewing will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID.Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 am at the LDS McCammon Stake Center, 403 W 16th St. McCammon, ID 83250, with a viewing for one hour prior.Burial will follow at the Lava Hot Springs Cemetery.Condolences may be made at www.colonial-funeralhome.com
