Peggy Jean Bright passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2016, surrounded by her family. Peggy was born on November 9, 1938 in Kirkland, TX. As a child, her family moved to Oxnard, CA. Upon completion of high school she was employed at the local naval base as a secretary. She worked as a secretary at many locations during her life, ending with Yuba County. She also worked as a caregiver, a job that she had a gift for. Peggy enjoyed cooking, the casinos, family gatherings (especially Christmas), and road trips. She was also on many bowling leagues, throughout her life, with her best friend Dianna Link. She was known for her infectious smile. She carried no malice in the heart and will be greatly missed.Peggy is survived by her loving husband, John and daughter, Sheri Nelson and four grandchildren, Josh Bowling, Tiffany Tiefel, Cody Nelson and Alex Lillenberg and great-granddaughter, Eden Mae and sister Lilly Stalzer.She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Michelle Gross, March 2005.A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bonanza Convention Center, Yuba City, on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 1:00 pm.Memorial contributions can be made to your local Hospice or .
