Peggy J. Salmon 1951 - 2016Peggy J. Salmon, 65, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday November 20, 2016 at her residence. She was born on May 30, 1951 in Pittsfield, IL. to Russell and Shirley Atkinson Dotson. Peggy married Robert Clinton Salmon in Springfield on June 16, 1967 and he survives.Mrs. Salmon is also survived by two children: Barb (Tina Allen) Salmon and Robert (Jennifer) Salmon II both of Springfield, four grandchildren: Tabitha (Mike) Calvert of Riverton, and Krystal Salmon, PJ Salmon, and Robert Salmon III all of Springfield, one brother Bud Brooks of Wellsville, KS. And one special nephew Eddie (Michelle) Brooks. She was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter Chelsy Salmon and her sister Diane Harris.Peggy was a St. Louis Cardinals fan who enjoyed crocheting. She loved her dog Ginger but most of all loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren.A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street, with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
