Paulette Lillian Welty, 67, of Rockwell, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury. Paulette was born on Sept. 10, 1949 to Lillian Brown Wida and the late Paul Wida in Allentown, Pa. She was a 1968 graduate of Hellertown Lower Saucon High School. Paulette worked as an associate manager/bookkeeper for Big Lots. She was a member of Grace Lowerstone Reformed Church. Paulette enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband Bill, and working in her flower garden. She loved to cook and clean, and was known to her family as a “cleanaholic.” Paulette was very mild-mannered, respectful and was someone that everyone loved. In addition to her mother, Paulette is survived by her husband of over 44 years, William “Bill” Walter Welty Jr., whom she married Jan. 14, 1972; two daughters, Tina Welty of Rockwell and Jennifer Helms and husband Travis of Granite Quarry; granddaughter, Kristen Culp; brother, Jeffrey Wida of Hellertown, Pa.; and sister, Barbara Petris of Apple Valley, Calif. Visitation: Visitation will be held 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016 at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell. Service: Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 at the Grace Lower Stone Church, Rockwell, with Rev. Steven DeGangi, officiating.
