RACINE - Paul Pasquale Minneti peacefully passed away on January 27, 2017. He was laid to rest with full military honors at the Southeastern Wisconsin Memorial Veterans Cemetery on February 1, 2017 in a private family service. Paul was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church and eulogized by his son, Paul L. Minneti. Paul was born on Easter Sunday April 25, 1925 the son of Natale and Anna (Sammarco) Minneti. He married Shirley M. Petersen in 1947 and together they raised 4 children. Paul was employed at American Motors and Young Radiator. He enjoyed books, travel, music, dancing, ping pong, listening to WRJN for over 60 years, and loved to talk politics. He was a strong supporter of the Democratic process and his favorite president was Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He was especially proud to see his Chicago Cubs win the World Series in his lifetime. Paul is survived by his children, Paul (Ginger) Minneti, Philip Minneti, Gloria (Tom) Howe, Cynthia (Randy) Marshall and grandchildren, Kimberly, Philip, Melissa, Joel and Paul, 7 great grandchildren, siblings Dominic (Gail), Anna, Anthony, Josephine, Carmella, Frances and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings Nicholas, Jacob, Mary, Michelina, and Lucy. He also was preceded in death by Shirley, the mother of his children. Paul, Philip and Cynthia, would like to extend their sincere gratitude to their sister Gloria and her husband Tom for the excellent care of their father over the years. Their love and selfless devotion was appreciated beyond what words can express. Memorials may be directed to the Veteran organization of your choice.
