Paul NesbittKnoxville, TNPaul Bruce Nesbitt died at home on January 15, 2017, after a several year struggle with kidney cancer. He was born on March 16, 1946, in Memphis. He attended Christian Brothers High School and Christian Brothers College and had a long career as an electrical engineer with TVA in Knoxville. When he wasn't out enjoying the fall color in his convertible, he could be found fly fishing on the Clinch River or in the Smokies. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Noble Nesbitt; and his uncles, John and Robert Nesbitt. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra Crawford Nesbitt; children, Laurel Nesbitt (husband Neil Elliott) and John Nesbitt (wife Alexis Nesbitt); and grandchildren, Annathea, Hank, Maxfield, and Phoebe. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., followed by a luncheon at the church at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to or the Dollywood Foundation My People Fund.
