Patsy Ruth Sears, age 84 and widow of Duel Sears, passed away on Tuesday at her home in rural Pawhuska, Oklahoma.Patsy Ruth Cullen was born on May 23, 1932 in Humphrey, Arkansas to Rufus Boyd Cullen and Estie (Chriss) Cullen. She left this world to meet her Lord and Savior on October 18, 2016.Patsy graduated from Shawnee High School in 1950 and attended Neff's Business School. She worked as an administrative assistant for 40 years at the Bureau of Mines and Department of Energy in Bartlesville. After retirement, Patsy worked 13 years for the school in Bowering.Patsy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Duel J. Sears; stepson, Doug Sears and his daughter, Jessica Sears. Both of Patsy's parents preceded her in death.Patsy is survived by one sister, Corrinne Cullen Stewart and her husband, James R. Stewart II, of Greenville, South Carolina, and their son, James R. Stewart III, his wife, Dianna, and their two children, Brandon and Tyler, of Brentwood, Tennessee. In addition, Patsy is survived by Jerri Paulson of Estes Park, Colorado, who is a cousin. Patsy is also survived by two stepsons, Joe Sears and Earl Sears and his wife, Jane, of Bartlesville. Patsy has three step-grandchildren, Dustin Sears, his wife, Shelly, and their four children of Placerville, California; Ryan Sears, his wife, Krisha, and their two children of Houston, Texas; and Hollye Sears Hunt and her husband, John, of Norman, Oklahoma. Finally, Patsy is survived by a great-uncle, Wade Sears, of Florida and Terry Kennedy, great-aunt, of Oregon.Special thanks go to Ginger Chinn of Bowring, Oklahoma for her care and kindness which she gave throughout their many years of friendship. Ginger especially provided selfless care at the end of Patsy's life. In addition, thank you to Cornerstone Hospice and her caregivers, Vicki Alexander, Marie Tyson and Amanda Donnell.Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00 AM-8:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S.
