Dr. Patricia L. McClenahan, 75, passed away at home in Eagle River, Alaska, on Oct. 23, 2016.Patricia was born on Aug. 19, 1941, in Chico, Calif. Patricia moved to Alaska in September 1996. She earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Science. She worked for Principal as well as for Pacific Northwest Resources Consultants of Alaska.Patricia is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerome "Jerry" Hugh McClenahan; and her two sons; two daughters-in-law; and two grandchildren.Her ashes will be scattered in Kachemak Bay next spring.Arrangements are with Janssen's Eagle River Funeral Home.
