Patricia Isabell SchultePatricia Isabell "Pat" Schulte, age 94, passed away from this world to be with her Savior on January 27, 2017, in the home of her son Bill and Bonnie Schulte. She had been lovingly cared for by her children, in her home in Pierce City for the past year.Patricia was the daughter of William and Katherine (Weniger) Barrett born on July 25, 1922 in Emery SD. She was the youngest of six children, lost her mother at the age of 6 months and the family was raised by her father.Patricia was united in marriage to Leo J Schulte, on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1946. He preceded her in death March 27, 1994, after 47 years of marriage.Patricia was preceded in death by five siblings: Catherine Barrett, Francis Barrett, James Barrett, Sister Catherine Senna Barrett (Ann), Margaret Gaffey and a great granddaughter, Ivy Annabelle Conner.Patricia was an active member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City, Mo since 1954. She was retired from the Monett Shoe Factory.One of Patricia's greatest joys was spending time with family and she could prepare a family meal from almost nothing. She always raised and shared a bountiful harvest from her garden.Patricia joyfully volunteered for many years after her retirement in the care of altar plants and flowers at St Mary's Church, Loaves and Fishes meal deliveries and Crosslines.Patricia is survived by six children: Leonard Schulte of Springdale, AR, Leona Roetto of Springfield, MO, Cathy (Wayne) Blight of Centerview, MO, Marie (Mike) Conner of Nevada, MO, Linda (Jerry) Underwood of Rogersville, MO, Bill (Bonnie) Schulte of Monett, MO.Patricia is also survived by 15 grandchildren: Jeanne Roetto, Joyce (Roetto) Brantley, Jill Roetto, Dr. Julie (Roetto) Miles, John M. Roetto, Jason Blight, Sarah (Blight) Misner, Daniel Conner, Anne (Conner) DeSalme, Nick Conner, Justin Underwood, Amber Underwood, Caleb Schulte, Si Witt-Schulte, Lanese (Witt-Schulte) Slagle and 17 great grandchildren.Patricia leaves behind a special granddog, Jocko, who stayed by her side and was a special comfort as she lovingly petted him.The family wishes to give a special thanks to Three Rivers Hospice of Mount Vernon and Visiting Angels for assistance with her care.Arrangements are under Greenlawn East Funeral Home.Rosary and visitation will be Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 6:00 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City. Missouri. Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Peter Morciniec will be celebrated Monday, January 30, 2017 at 10:00 at St. Mary's Church. Burial service will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Pierce City, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School or to Three Rivers Hospice of Mount Vernon, Missouri.
