HUDSON — Patricia J. Griffin 81, passed away Sunday June 12, 2016. She was born on September 20, 1934 in Stroh to Harold and Gladys (Harris) Hanes. She formerly worked for the News Sun in Kendallville and the Town Square restaurant in Howe. Her early life was spent growing up on Story Lake. She was preceded in death by her former husband Hugh Griffin. Surviving are: a son, Jess Griffin of Hudson; three daughters, Brenda (Cletus) Bontrager of LaGrange, Deborah (Bill) Schiffli of Hamilton, and Eulalia Days of Hudson; eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and one step great grandchild. Funeral services will be Thursday June 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Hudson, with Pastor Donna Holcomb officiating. Burial will be at Wright Cemetery, Hudson, IN. Calling will be Wednesday, June 15, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Arrangements by Johnson Funeral Home, Hudson, Indiana.
