Gresenz, Patricia "Pat"Patricia "Pat" (nee Taplin) Gresenz passed away March 24, 2017. She joins her husband of 28 years, Jerry, who preceded her in death in May of 1988. Pat was born on June 6, 1938 to Cecil and Helen (Weber) Taplin in Menasha, Wisconsin. Pat grew up in Menasha, and graduated from Menasha High School in 1956. After marrying in August of 1959, Pat and Jerry moved to Manitowoc, Wisconsin and raised 5 loving and successful children. Jeff and Renee (Sivori) Gresenz, Mound MN. Joe (Kim) Gresenz, Colgate, WI. Pam (Robert) Brandt, Slinger, WI. Polly (Shane) Foster, Leewood, KS. James (Robin) Gresenz, Hartford, WI. She has 17 adult grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Pat was Mom, Grandma, Gma, Granny, Great Grandma and Aunt to countless others whose lives she touched. Everyone was always welcomed in her home and always fed well. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen (Weber) Taplin, and Cecil Taplin. Her husband Jerry, and her sister Barb (Taplin) Passehl. Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Patricia on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church (264 State St. Hartford, WI 53027) with Fr. David LaPlante officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Private interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorials to HEROES ON THE WATER (3453 S 38th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53215) or to THREE HARBORS COUNCIL BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA (330 South 84th St, Milwaukee, WI 53214) or to GIRL SCOUT OF WISCONSIN SOUTHEAST (131 S 69th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53214). She will be deeply missed. We are honored to be called her family.
