Patricia D. RauscherAGE: 70 • GlendoraPatricia D. Rauscher (nee Murphy) a long time resident of Glendora, NJ, passed away on May 18, 2017 at the age of 70. She is the dearly beloved wife of Richard Rauscher, and the loving mother of Richard Rauscher (Laura) of Hershey, PA, and Erica Johnson (Jason) of Seattle, WA. She is the devoted daughter of the late Dorothy and Harry Murphy. She is also survived by: her three dear grandchildren, Zoe and Autumn Rauscher, and Lila Johnson; her cousins Bill Dost, and Paul Dost (Ellen); her mother-in-law Dorothy Rauscher of Blenheim, NJ; and her brothers-in-law Raymond Rauscher (Jane) of FL, and Fred Rauscher (Sharon) of Blenheim, NJ. Pat was born on Oct. 9, 1946. As the daughter of a U.S. Marine, she travelled and lived in numerous parts of the country where her father was stationed. In the 1950's her family settled in Blackwood. She graduated in 1965 from Triton High School, and after graduation studied at Central Missouri State University. Over the years Pat was employed at a number of local companies including the candy store in the Glen Oaks Mall, NJ Bell Telephone Co., Clover in Blackwood, and Zagara's in Marlton. She enjoyed going fishing with her husband, reading sci-fi and other novels, and spending time in Clearwater and Tarpon Springs, FL. She loved animals, especially dogs (Dachshunds being her favorite) and birds.Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, May 24th, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012, where a prayer service will begin at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory would be appreciated to the Dachshund Rescue of Bucks County and NJ, 181 Gilbert Dr., Morrisville, PA 19067.
