HOWARD, Patricia Anne (Wooldridge),age 66, died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Louisville, Kentucky on April 18, 2017 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Patricia was born on October 10, 1950 in Leitchfield, Kentucky. She will be remembered as Patricia, Pat, Trish, or Tricia to her many family members and friends. We treasure many stories of her as a loving, gentle, compassionate, caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, neighbor, and friend. Her parents, James Anthony and Mary Angela (Milliner) Wooldridge; her paternal grandparents, Allen Thomas and Mary Grace (McChesney) Wooldridge; and her maternal grandparents, William Asa and Pearl Ellen (Condor) Milliner, preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of forty-five years, Thomas Anthony (Tony) Howard; her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Nicole (Howard) and Erik Randall; and her grandchildren, Alexis Michele and Olivia Anne Randall. Patricia also leaves to treasure her memory, her siblings: Joseph Asa Wooldridge, Rebecca Ruth Wooldridge Bendickson, Phillip Thomas (Anita Duarte) Wooldridge, and John Anthony (Carol Baldwin) Wooldridge. The Howard family revered Tricia as a "sister" not as a sister-in-law: Jim, Anne, Angela & Tony Kaelin, Rose, Frank (deceased), Patrick & Rubianne, Jeanne, Mike & Greta, Kathy & Ken Weikel. Her neighbors and friends also saw her as more than a friend - she was family. Of course, we cannot leave out her grand-dogs, Dax and Daisy.Patricia was a very active, faithful Catholic and a member of Epiphany Catholic Church. She loved her sewing group at Epiphany, called the Healing Blanket ministry. She was involved in many charitable causes. The family offers their deep appreciation to Norton Cancer Institute, all the doctors, nurses, therapists, other medical staff, Hosparus and all those who were with us on this final journey with our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend.A Celebration of Life will be held at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. on Sunday, April 30 at 4:00 p.m.; and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Epiphany Catholic Church, 914 Old Harrods Creek Rd. on Tuesday, May 2 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
