Ms. Patricia Ann Dunlap Hutto of Columbia was born July 24, 1958, in Conway, South Carolina.  She was the daughter the late Hozzie and Amelia (Ladson) Dunlap.  She departed this life on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Baptist Hospital.

Patricia was educated in Horry County Public School System.  She graduated from Conway High School in 1976.  She also graduated from Columbia Junior College and Columbia Beauty School.  Patricia was last self-employed as a hair stylist for more than 35 years and worked at UPS for 15 years.

Patricia was affectionately known as “Patsy.”  She was well known for her outspoken personality, spiritual encouragement, and speaking her mind.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen, Maggie, and Mary Caroline; and two brothers Donald and Steven; a brother-in-law (Linwood), and two nephews, Chris and Jamar.

Those left to cherish Patricia’s fond and precious memories are her two daughters Madison (Everette) Muller and Morgan Turner; and her granddaughter Peyton Muller all of Columbia, South Carolina; four stepdaughters Michelle (Tyrone) Boykin of Charlotte, North Carolina, Samantha (Haziq) El-Amin of Richmond, Virginia, Catherine Robinson of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Monica (Darryl) Buchanan of Seattle, Washington; one stepson William (Laquinta) Hutto Jr. of West Columbia, SC; three loving brothers, Tressie (Vera) Dunlap, Sr., Ronald (Barbara) Dunlap, both of Columbia, South Carolina; and Elder Kenneth (Genola) Dunlap of Charlotte, North Carolina; six loving sisters, Ora Lee Dunlap and  Loretta Dunlap, both of Conway, South Carolina; Shirley Hill Blunt, of Goose Creek, South Carolina; Melvenia Spain of Columbia, South Carolina; Amelia (Charles) Wiley of Hopewell, Virginia; Corine (Charles) Bellamy of West Columbia, South Carolina; one aunt Caroline Brice of Columbia, South Carolina; one sister-in-law Johnnie Mae Dunlap of Columbia, South Carolina, one brother-in-law, Eric Hill of Goose Creek, South Carolina her godparents John and Hattie Smith of Columbia, South Carolina; former spouse William Hutto Sr., former significant other Thomas Turner, a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by her departure, but rejoice in the fact the she is now resting with the Lord.
