Resch, Patricia A.Patricia A. Resch, age 81, of Menasha passed away on Saturday evening, June 10, 2017 with her daughter by her side at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born on August 29, 1935 in Neenah, Wisconsin daughter of the late Howard and Mildred (Peterson) Boreson. Pat grew up in Menasha and attended Menasha High School. On September 13, 1958 she married John L. Resch at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Menasha. Their marriage was blessed with one daughter and 54 wonderful years before John preceded her in death in 2013. She was a 1992 retiree of Promo Edge in Neenah. Pat was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Menasha. She loved going to the casino, especially in September with her daughter Kelly for their annual getaway. One of Pat's most cherished memories was her 80th birthday celebration when she was surprised with a family camping trip and went floatin' down the Wolf. She had the kindest soul, and because of this she had many of friends. Pat had a sense of humor that couldn't be beat. She was loved by many, and will be missed by those whose lives she touched.She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kelly (Son-by-law Dan) Amundson, Menasha; grandchildren: Courtney Amundson and Matthew Amundson, Menasha; sister, June "Punkin" (Ronnie) Schultz, Menasha; sister-in-law, Kay Boreson Sawsville, Kaukauna. In addition to her parents and her beloved husband John, she was preceded in death by brothers: Robert "Buzzy" Boreson, Herman Boreson, and an Angel Brother; parents-in-law, Leonard and Marcella Resch; siblings-in-law: Leonard (Marcella) Resch; Florence (Herbert) Porsche; Betty Resch, Barb Resch; nephews: Rob Resch and Chuck Porsche.A Memorial Service for Pat will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home with Deacon Rick Dvorak officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. She will be laid to rest next to John in St. Mary's Cemetery, Menasha.I called her Ma, but she was not only my mother. She was like my sister and was my best friend. If I could be half the person she was, we would all be lucky. With sadness I say goodbye, and hold our special memories close to my heart.
