Pamela Rose Bishop was born on August 27, 1956 to Charles Bishop and the late Rose Bishop in Newark, New Jersey. Pamela departed this life on August 27, 2019.

Pamela affectionately known as "Pam" was educated in the Newark school system where she attended South Street Elementary, Oliver Street Middle School and East Side High School. Pam was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and a dear friend. Pam loved to make everyone laugh with her funny jokes. She also loved cooking and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, grand nieces and nephews.

Pam will forever be missed by her surviving family- Charles Bishop (father),  Jodi Bishop (daughter), Lamar Bishop-Hutchins (son), three grandchildren-Heaven, Essence and Amor Bishop, Denise Bishop (sister), Charles Spivey (brother), her only niece Tanya Bishop, host of great nieces (Sequoia, Shaniqua, Quadirah, Taliyah), great nephews (Khaleel, Ameer, Bilal, Najee, Quazir and Za'yin), great great nephew Nasier, great great nieces (Zoey, Malaysia, Journee,Amiyah), Frances Bowen (step mother), Valerie Bowen-Townes (step sister), Renee aka "Rae Rae" (cousin), Sherry Brown (life long friend) and a host of family and friends.
