Born to Emma Jean Moxy and James Charles Cadge, Norris was the oldest of six children.
Norris was always friendly and outgoing. He attended Tilden, where he graduated and then went on to serve in the United States Army. He returned home and began working at Southside Tires for 30 years. All that knew him, knew you could find him at "The Shop" with his dominoes in hand.
He was so handy he was affectionately known as "Black McGyver". He was always smiling and gave the greatest advice.
Norris leaves behind: Sharon (spouse), four siblingsYvettea (Kirk), Van (Lyndsey), Marie, Edna. His brother Robert proceeded him in death. Six children: Shelby (Dewayne), Debra, Charles (Kym), Trina, Erika (Krystell) & Andrea (Erica), ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and a close friend Tony and a host of family and friends.
