Norene Ann GrantOctober 22, 1944 - April 20, 2014Norene Ann Grant, age 69, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her home. She was born on October 22, 1944 in Chehalis, Washington to Byron Arvin and Opal Lovina (Hatfield) Woods.Norene attended school in Centralia, Washington and graduated from Centrailia High School. She married Gerald Grant in 1974 in Reno, Nevada. She was a past President of the Eagles.Norene was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Woods; and two sisters, Edythe Younger and Sharan Wick. Norene is survived by a daughter, Lena Barada; and sisters Nora (Arnold) Fipps and Virginia Woods; and a brother, Byron Woods; as well as a step daughter, Gail.As per her wishes, Norene will be cremated under the care and direction of Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave., Pocatello, Idaho. No public services are currently being planned.
