Namphengsone, Nixon 74, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015, in Winfield, KS. Nixon was born on September 13, 1941, in Vientiane, Laos. Together Nixon and Khamfong Namphengsone celebrated 53 years of marriage. Nixon was survived by his wife, Khamfong; daughters, Pat (Prasith Bounsouysana) Namphengsone, Dawn (Sy) Rasaphangthong, Beth (Vong) Luangsisombath; son, Tony (Sinti) Salongridaysa; brothers, Saleum Namphengsone and Kaisy Namphengsone; 12 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter. Prayer services will be held from 3-6 p.m. Friday, December 18; Funeral services for Nixon will be from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, December 19, both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS. Cremation will follow the funeral.
