Nicholas Ryan Schmutte33, of Ronceverte, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was born on May 21, 1984, to Ken and Shirley (Lents) Schmutte in Indianapolis, Indiana.Nick graduated from Sheridan High School in Sheridan, Indiana in 2002. He attended Marian College and was a member of their baseball team. He earned his bachelor's degree in 2007. Nick was the Grounds Horticulture Manager for the Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.Nick was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents John and Ruth (Smock) Schmutte. He is survived by his fiancée Angela Ruble, his children Cecelia Ann, Frank Robert and Claire Ryann (due in October) Schmutte.He is also survived by his parents, his sisters Cara (Zachary) Rood and Lindsay Schmutte and brother Jacob Schmutte, in addition to four nieces and three nephews.Private memorial services were held June 3, 2017.
